Originally from San Diego, Lucy moved to Los Angeles to open the first Charter School Capital office with CEO Stuart Ellis. She then took the plunge to move to Portland as one of the first team members when Stuart offered to sweeten the deal with an incentive that made it possible to fulfill her Harley-Davidson motorcycle obsession. She started as a Jill of all trades, doing jobs like Accounts Payable, Underwriting, Funding and managing tradeshows until hires were made to fill those roles. As our Office Manager, she’s happy to keep her focus on keeping the lights on…literally. Whether it’s onboarding new hires or organizing employee Lunch n’ Learns, keeping us in office equipment and organizing entire office moves (she has overseen 5 to date!), she generally makes everything flow smoothly. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, dancing, and gardening.
